This week was a bit slower than last week which was much warranted because I was so busy in the month of February. I only had 3 appointments thankfully. I also went to lunch on Monday with my mother and on Wednesday with Elizabeth, Darlene and Melanie. It was wonderful to see Melanie as I haven't seen her in a long while. Lots of lunch laughs! I really needed it!
I'm still feeling my usual symptoms including my feet and ankle pain. I've been using a cane to assist with my walking. I'm really hoping that they can figure out what is going on with this discomfort. I've been suffering with this agony for months now.
I finally have most of my appointments scheduled and it feels good to be prepared. My cardiac PET scan is Monday 3/11/24, my EMG is 4/2/24, my follow up with Neurology is 6/3/24, my Reclast Infusion is 3/27/24 and my Bone scan is 6/21/34.
I'm sure there will be more to come but for now they all have dates. I function better when I'm organized and it's hard to feel organized when you don't know when something is going to happen. The unknown always causes me anxiety these days. I'm trying to learn how to cope with my anxiety and panic attacks. It will take time but I'm working on it everyday. I remind myself of all the blessings I have on a daily basis. Positive reflection is very helpful. I know how lucky I am to have the most amazing family and friends.
I am completely overwhelmed by the generosity of people! David's friend is organizing a golf tournament as a fundraiser for me! It is going to be Sunday May 5th 2024 @ Shaker Farms Country Club in Westfield,MA. If anyone is interested in golfing, donating raffle prizes or attending the dinner let me know so I can get the information to David.

I am so glad to hear you’re going out to lunches with your friends and family. Hopefully nice weather is coming and you’ll be able to do more things not related to your medical.
