The watch is an all-bronze riff on link the Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph. Beyond the "panda" gold-plated dial link and the steel caseback, the link entire case, crown, pushers, and bracelet are fashioned from bronze. This is the closest Oris has come to an entirely bronze watch.
The Universal Geneve Film Compax reference 22522 was commercialized in 1945. To link date, every known example was produced for the U.S. market, link perhaps intended for American filmmakers. A few years ago, Sacha Davidoff and the enigmatic link Mr. A documented every known example of the Film Compax, finding just seven.
I couldn't really afford it and about a year-and-a-half after buying it, had to sell it link – for a student, five hundred bucks is a lot link of money, especially when you have a small but growing boy who wants to eat and be clothed on a regular basis. But it's pretty much the link only watch, to this day, that I regret selling, especially now that the notion of finding one in good condition for five hundred simoleons is absurd (an old-timey slang word for a buck, but hey, it was an old-timey watch).
