I'm still feeling the same with all the same symptoms but my hair looks great! My iron infusions are scheduled for December 6 & 19th. We will have to stay over the night before the December 19 appointment because the infusion is at 7am - yikes! It will be followed by a clinic appointment at 9:30.
My weekend was pretty quiet. I spent a lot of it resting and relaxing with David. Monday begins with Cardiac rehabilitation again. I did good and pushed myself a little more than my last session. This is my goal and I'm happy with the results thus far.
I just received a call from Mass General Hospital and my CPET is scheduled for January 3, 2024 @ 1pm. I'm nervous about this test because the last time I performed it the results were not good. I hope that my new heart does well!!
I have not started the new medications yet but I know that the prescriptions were sent to the specialty pharmacy because they contacted me last Friday. I believe that they are waiting for insurance approval. I am anxious to see if the new medication decreases the side effects that make me feel so awful on a daily basis- fatigue, headaches, shakiness, numbness and tingling in my hands and feet, tremors, rib and chest pain , body aches, hot flashes, chills and nausea. I'm looking forward to the day when these symptoms are gone or at the very least more tolerable. I knew this recovery would be a struggle and I'm willing to fight but right now it is so discouraging to feel crappy all the time. I'm so appreciative of everyone's encouragement and support. I couldn't get through this without you all!!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I am praying that the iron infusion and medication works to get rid of all or most of those nasty side effect. You should get more energy with the iron infusion. As your family said you have come along way and in each day is a new step. Donāt push yourself too much it will all come together. I am wishing you and David and family a Happy Thanksgiving. Kelly and I will be going to my sister Dot house since she is improving. Amen. As always I am praying for your full recovery ā¤ļøāš©¹
You are doing so much better than you know! You are so determined, KellyAnn. You just have to make sure you don't do too much. You need to get through to the New Year and then see. I really think the iron infusion will be a big pick-me-up for you. New medications, cardiac rehab, iron infusion all changes ... all positive - hopefully. Love you, KellyAnn š
The plateau ( your words !) you feel sucks Iām sure, but you ARE moving in a positive direction ! Every day hurts but hopefully in another 2,3 months you will feel better and better š I hope for symptom free days in the near future , love you so much ā¤ļø!
