I've been feeling okay the last few days. Last night I went to a small event with my cousin Karen and I did pretty good. I made sure to wear my mask. I did get a bit shaky and tired towards the end but I made it. We went to the Sons of Erin in Westfield. It was so nice to be out in a social setting and seeing some great people that I haven't seen in a really long time.
Speaking of long time...tonight we are at the camper. I have been wanting to see my friend Hillary but we just haven't been able to connect this summer. We met her about 5 years ago at Rapscallion Brewery. She was the manager. It all began with a photo bomb. We became fast friends and every camping season we would visit her frequently. We shared a lot of laughs. I haven't seen her since last summer, before I got really sick and I've missed her. Tonight David, Lesley and I went to surprise her! I didn't want to wait until next season to see her again. It was so fantastic to visit with her again. I'm looking forward to hanging out more next summer!
