So I've been home for a little over a week and most days have been tough in one way or another. This morning I'm reflecting on how much care I need. It truly is extreme 24/7. I am so lucky to have my husband David by my side. I couldn't do anything without him. He starts his morning around 5am when I just can't be in the bed anymore and he helps me to my get to my recliner. He makes sure I'm all all set with something to drink so that I can take some Tylenol or pain medication and that I'm comfortable. I then send him back to bed so he can get more sleep. Throughout the day I need assistance walking at times, dressing, showering and getting back into bed. He is there to help me every step of the way. We go for short walks outside during the day. Our goal is 3 walks a day. We don't always meet that goal but we try and he gently encourages me everyday. He prepares my meals and does the dishes. How sexy is that! On top of essentially doing everything for me he is maintaining the house and doing laundry. He does all of this with a smile, a hug and often times a goofy joke to make me laugh. Everyone keeps saying that I'm a rockstar but honestly he is the Rockstar!āØ
I am so in love with him and thankful every day for our beautiful blended family. I will fight through the toughest days for them. I am grateful that I get to spend the rest of my life with this incredible man ā¤ļø

I got the call from my AD that the watch was available but I slept on it. I went there the next day and the whole store was empty. No one at all, just me. I remember feeling so bad and ashamed that, you know, this pandemic is link happening and I'm about to drop all this money on a link watch. But I called a friend of mine ā again ā just to get advice and link they said, 'Just do it. With that watch, you don't question it, you just do it,' and I did.
He is a keeper! David is more like a son to me. Love him and I knew you were the right one the first day I met you. It is a little rough now but I believe the two of you will have many many happy years ahead.ā¤ļøš
