Holiday Spirit

I'm happy to say that I had a good weekend. I was able to join my friends on Saturday night for our annual Christmas dinner. We had a wonderful time with lots of laughs. Sunday I had a lovely visit with Maria. It was great to see her and catch up. David, Lesley and I went to lunch at Rapscallion and the remainder of the day was spent resting. Monday I had Cardiac rehab and then we got on the road to Boston. The beginning of the ride was a little hectic in the pouring rain but David got us there safely. We settled into the hotel and then went to dinner. The restaurant that we chose was in the cellar of a building. The food was good and they had Skee-ball. David and I played a game. It's been years since I played Skee-ball. I was terrible lol. I don't really have the strength but we had fun. After dinner we went back to the hotel and watched the first few episodes of the second season of Reacher. I didn't sleep very much last night. I was anxious about my day ahead. Now I'm in the infusion suite getting my second Iron infusion. We've been here for 2 hours so far. Once this is completed we are going to get some breakfast before my next appointment. I'm starving and it was a really early start to the day. I'm tired already. Bella spent the night at Kathleen and Paul's house. We will be picking her up on our way home. I can't wait to see that little nugget 🐾
