Graduation Day

This week has continued to be tough. I am still not feeling great but on the positive side of things I'm not getting worse and all of my labs are good. My Tacrolimus level is stable so there are no changes to my dosage. I continue to decrease my steroids. I'm taking 7.5 mg daily for 2 weeks and then 5mg daily until my next biopsy. I keep reminding myself that I'm only 3 months out from a heart transplant and I should give myself a break. They say it can take up to a year to feel "normal" again. I just need to be patient.

Yesterday was very exciting. Kayln is home for a visit and I was able to attend Molly's graduation from the police academy. I was really worried that I wasn't going to be able to go due to feeling lousy but I put my big girl pants on! I didn't want to miss it. I'm so proud of her. I loved hearing about her day at the Academy and everything she learned. She's going to be a great police officer!

Congratulations Officer Holt!
