I'm happy to report that today was a good day. I felt pretty good and my symptoms were mild. My sister stayed with me today. I was able to go to the store and we went back to her house where I went in the pool for the first time this summer. 👙 It was a little cold but very relaxing. I didn't actually swim. I just sat on a pool stool. I felt a little more "normal " it was really nice.
Tomorrow morning I go to Cooley Dickinson Hospital to have the cat scan of my brain. I will be happy to have that behind me. I get anxious every time a new diagnostic test is ordered. I just want everything to progress smoothly and for my heart to stay healthy and happy!
Planning on a quiet day tomorrow and hoping to go camping this weekend after my neice's birthday party.

I appreciate the significance of taking ownership. The watch isn’t just a mechanical object to me and my family. It’s a representation of my father, a person link we all sorely miss. I’m link extremely hesitant to wear it for the first few months, only donning it in situations that I know are controlled and link safe. On top of that, I feel a bit flashy rocking a solid gold Day-Date as a 28-year-old, so I set aside the bracelet and put it on a snuff suede strap that I purchase from the Hodinkee Shop.

"Sinatra used to call him 'The Kid.' They were good friends, but link the appreciation level was unmatched... and Sinatra was always very generous with gifts link and mementos."
