First VNA visit post Heart Transplant

This morning I had my first Visiting nurse visit but honestly Catherine has been my VNA nurse since before my transplant so it was like seeing a good friend. I was so happy to get her call this morning because I wasn't sure if she would be my nurse again. I'm so lucky š she is so helpful and caring not to mention knowledgeable. She's a wonderful nurse. When I was going through the evaluation for my Heart Transplant I was home on an continuous IV infusion medication called Milrinone to support my heart function. She came every week to draw my required labs and change my central line dressing. She was definitely vested in my care and it showed. She was so excited when I told her that I was officially on the Heart Transplant list. She has been right there on this journey with me. Thank you for everything ā¤ļø

A clue resides in Bad Clowns. I think part of us inherently admires the clown for exactly the reasons Radford points out.
