Feeling Hopeful

The past few days have been good. I'm still having side effects but they are more tolerable. I'm learning to listen to my body and rest when I need to.
Monday was a quiet and restful day. Yesterday Elizabeth and I went to Cooley Dickinson to have my weekly labs drawn. The ride there was eventful because we ran into traffic again for the second week in a row. It was so bad that we actually had to turn around and take a different route but we made it! We also took Bella for a nice long walk in the afternoon. I was tired and needed to rest afterwards but it felt good to accomplish that task! I'm looking forward to starting cardiac rehabilitation in the near future. I'm just waiting for a call with an appointment.
Today the heart transplant team called me with my lab results. Thankfully everything looks good. My Tacrolimus level is 8.5 which is still low so they have instructed me to increase my night time dose to 2.5mg. My morning dose will remain the same. This is one of my anti rejection meds that impact the side effects that I experience. I am hopeful that they won't get worse but I know that if they do I will get through it!! Next week we go to Boston for an appointment with the heart transplant team and another cardiac catheterization with heart biopsy. As always I'm optimistic for NO rejection!
David had today off and I was able to help him with some chores around the house. We did a little redecorating in our dining room. Of course, David did all the heavy lifting š It was really an achievement to have the ability to assist with some of the projects around our home.
This adorable nugget has been by my side through this whole journey. She is my official emotional support animal ( paperwork official) She hangs out with me all day . If I'm up and about she's right there. If I'm napping in bed she is too and she loves to snuggle. I'm so grateful to have her with me. She's the sweetest š¾
Thank you Bella

I link wondered how NASA had selected this LeCoultre watch and where these special Mercury 7 watches had been made. But some things were absolutely certain. This was the watch that had been issued link to the seven Mercury astronauts. This was the watch that Glenn had worn in the period immediately before and immediately after his February 1962 flight. And this was link the next watch that belonged in my collection. I called Karen Jones, and three days after sending the bank check, I received the watch.
While there isnāt exactly a shortage of special and rare watches to buy at link a similar price point, I have a hard time applying the same clinical market analysis ā such as I might use to delineate dive watches under $1,000 ā to watches like these LM101s. This is a watch made for a collector, link an link obsessive. It speaks to the wide-eyed five-year-old in all of us. And letās face it, that kid was never great with money. For more information, visit MB&F online. All photos, James Stacey.
