Today was a better day. I feel a little better today and my abdomen is more comfortable. I can eat. Yum!
I had a couple of visitors this afternoon. It's always nice to get visitors and hear stories about what's going on in their lives.
I also got a call from my Electrophysiologist from Boston Childrens Hospital Dr. Dewitt. She congratulated me on my heart transplant and had well wishes for me. She confirmed that I do not need to see her in July as scheduled because my pacemaker was removed during my surgery. She did however encourage me to make a social visit soon. How sweet!
When I was at the heart transplant clinic on Monday I was explaining to my Nurse Practitioner that I can feel my heart beat very prominently. Sometimes it feels like it's beating out of my chest. She states that the diagnosis for that is " heart beat awareness " and many transplant patients experience it. It was good to be reassured and to know that I'm not alone.
Everyone has been so supportive and kind. I am so overwhelmed but the love and support keep me fighting through even the toughest days. Thank you all so so much!!!
I have received inquiries about how to purchase the fundraiser tickets, tshirts or to make a donation. We have a Venmo account dedicated to my my heart transplant fund @eachbeatmatters. Please indicate what you are purchasing and how many. Unfortunately the blog will not let me add the QR code. Sorry for the inconvenience. Several of my friends and family have posted the QR code on Facebook and I am tagged in their post if anyone wants check that avenue
Thank you for everything. My life is surround by beautiful people.
Sincerely,
Each ❤️ beat matters
