Last night we stayed in Boston. We made it a date night. We went to dinner at the River Bar, walked along the outlet shops and relaxed in our hotel room for the night. It was really nice not having to get up at the crack of dawn to drive to Mass General Hospital this morning. It is just so stressful when we have to do that.
My clinic appointment went well. I had several questions today and we discussed each one. I was cleared to go swimming in a pool. I'm very excited about this ! I can't swim in a lake, pond or public pool but it is ok to swim in a private family pool. I won't necessarily swim but it will be nice to dip in or float around on a hot day. We have a family wedding in Kentucky at the end of September and Dr. Coglianese confirmed that it would be okay to attend. She did discuss travel precautions with me emphasizing that I would need to bring extra medications just in case we get stuck and wearing a mask on the plane and anywhere there is a crowd of people is extremely important. She also explained that I should base my decision about travel on how I'm feeling. I confirmed that this dictates everything we do or don't do these days. I have also been concerned because my blood pressure has been elevated so I brought my home blood pressure cuff with me today. The team compared my B/P cuff with the one in the clinic and determined that my home blood pressure cuff is faulty. My B/P is actually within normal limits. This is great news! I have another machine and I will continue to monitor it with the new cuff. Hopefully I will be able to decrease or stop my hypertension medication in the near future. All in all good news today!
I then went to the Cath lab to have my 4th right heart cathetetization and heart biopsy. The procedure went well. My wedge pressures are good and the pathology results are pending. They give me sedation for the procedure so I'm pretty tired now. It's good to be home and relaxing on my couch watching Chopped. Lol

You seem to be well on your way, and this is so great to hear! Fingers crossed for positive biopsy results (which usually means a negative biopsy result 😀) 🤞🙏❤️
