What am I grateful for... I'm grateful for the gift of life in my special heart. I'm grateful for my beautiful family. I'm grateful for my wonderful friends. I'm grateful for all of the kindness and support around me.
I am grateful for my friends and family who are working so hard to plan fundraisers to assist me with the crazy medical bills heading my way. I know that I can handle the physical struggle of this miraculous surgery and recovery but the financial struggle scares me so much. I don't want to get into the specifics of what a heart transplant costs but the numbers are staggering and I appreciate all the support possible. I hope that everyone will join us on July 28th . Tickets should be on sale soon!!
Yesterday was a very rough day for me I was in a lot of pain and everyone around me did everything that they could to try to help me feel better including the medical team, my children and my husband. Not to mention the many friends and family who check on me via text, phone calls and social media. Thank you all so very much. I need your love and support!
I woke up this morning in a much better place. The pain is manageable today and I am excited for a good day.
