Yesterday was a Monday Blah day. I didn't feel well. My symptoms were more prominent. I did take a long walk with David and Bella in the morning. I felt pretty good about that because I know it's important to walk and it was the longest walk I've tolerated so far. I did however need to go to bed for a while in the afternoon. I just felt weak, shaky, nauseous and tired.
I felt a little better in the evening. I have been craving corn on the cob so David went to a local farm to get some native corn which he made for dinner with chicken and mashed potatoes. My tiny baby corn on the cob 🌽
Today Elizabeth took me to Cooley Dickinson Hospital to get my weekly labs drawn. I will await the results and medication adjustments. I will probably get a call from the heart transplant team tomorrow with instructions. Afterwords, Elizabeth took me to Christmas Tree Shops. They are going out of business so I wanted to check out the deals. Unfortunately, there weren't any. Very disappointed.
I was excited to run into my friend Rosa. It was nice to catch up if even for a few minutes. I miss socializing, going to parties and going out to dinner. I know I will be able to do these things again and this is a small sacrifice for a beautiful future of events. It will be totally worth it!! I am truly blessed and I think of my donor and their family often. I do not know who my donor is but I promise to take care of this special new heart! Thank you so much ❤️ You have given me the gift of life and I will fight for my beautiful life!!

Glad to hear you had a good weekend. It is good to meet up with friends and everyone is routine for you. Just don’t rush things, that’s where you get setbacks. You are a very strong person and you will heal. You have done wonders in a short time.❤️
hang in there Kelly it will get better soon
