Good morning, this morning I woke up with some pretty severe sternum pain. I felt like a couldn't move or even take a breath. It is such a difficult balancing act. I do not like the way that the narcotic medication makes me feel (nauseous and lightheaded) so I try to avoid taking it but when the pain gets this intense I just have to. Of course, it is 3am and I haven't eaten so I was extremely nauseous after taking the medication- keep balancing, don't tip the scales. We were eventually able to get the pain and nausea under control- thank you phew!
I'm sitting up in a chair now binge watching Hells Kitchen. David brought our fire stick so that I could watch whatever I want but I really can't focus on anything serious or dramatic. Hells Kitchen is getting me through this-hahaha- Thank you Gordon Ramsey. However, you do swear too much.
The medical staff have been incredible here. The doctors, nurses, PCTs, physical therapy, nutritionist, occupational therapy, pharmacists and social workers are all doing there part and have been so fantastic. I honestly do not have one negative thing to say...I don't know how I am so lucky š
I feel like today will be a good day for everyone
