2 Good Days

So yesterday and today have been pretty good days. The side effects have been more tolerable and I'm actually functioning. I still feel drugged up but it's all part of the process. Yesterday I took a shower and today I'm dressed and I did my hair. I have an appointment with my PCP this afternoon. It's a standard follow up after hospitalization.

Tomorrow I have my appointment in Boston. It will be a long day. My first appointment is at 8am in the clinic. Then I have my 3rd right heart cath with biopsy procedure and after that I have an appointment with my incredible surgeon Dr. Rabi. This will be the first time I have seen him since the hospital.

The clinic appointment at 8am is a tough drive because of rush hour traffic so David and I have decided to go into Boston tonight and stay at a hotel. David called the hotel and explained why we're staying there and they offered us a discount. We were pleasantly

surprised! I am truly grateful for the generosity that people and companies have shown. Every small gesture helps.
